While at the Cruel World Festival at the Rose Bowl this past weekend, I was happily surprised by the sustainable efforts made. Goldenvoice, the concert producer, used a company called r.cup to sell drinks in cups that you returned at the end of the night to be cleaned, sanitized and shipped off to the next event, rather than add to the single use plastic collection that lives in our landfills. Isn't that amazing?! I love the spirit of earth friendly invention that went into this business.

The Pasadena Community has always been close-knit and we come together to support one another in times of need. It has come to our attention that a friend of the salon has encountered an unexpected medical circumstance and needs our help.
